EXTRA-LARGE SHELTER

This is our "Jumbo" shelter that seats 12 or more average size adults.  It's huge size gives plenty of elbow room when the neighbors show up.  It has the same quality as our other shelters and has the same Lifetime warranty. 




LARGE SHELTER
Shelter dimensions: 36" Wide by 84" Long by 54" deep

• Shelter has three removable carpeted stairs for more elbow room.

Each stair can be moved to the end of the benches to make two more benches. The benches can be moved together to form one wide bench.
The large shelter is perfect for new construction before or after the house is framed.

Shelter is easily accessible without moving car outside.
Our large shelter protrudes above the floor 4" at the highest point still allowing most vehicles to drive over it. The right picture shows the shelter installed in the 3rd car bay of the 3 car garage.




SMALL SHELTER
Shelter dimensions: 28" Wide by 72" Long by 54" deep

• Shelter has three, full width, removable stairs and removable handrail
• Unit has one padded adjustable bench

This unit protrudes 4" above the floor allowing breathing air to enter underneath lids.  Even with it's small size the shelter can seat four average size adults.  It has a hand rail and sliding entry lid with dual chain locks.




FLUSH-MOUNTED SHELTER
We now have three flat-top models available. The interiors of all three look identical to our standard models.

Shelter dimensions:
Small, 4-person shelter: 6' Long x 28" Wide x 4' 6" Deep.
  • Comes with one carpeted bench, three carpeted, removable, 6" steps, and a removable hand-rail.
Large, 8-person shelter: 7' Long x 3' Wide x 4' 6" Deep.
  • Has two carpeted benches, three carpeted, removable, 8" steps, and a removable hand-rail.
Super-Flat top, 12-person shelter: 8' Long x 4' Wide x 5' Deep.
  • Comes with two carpeted benches, four retractable 8" stairs, and a removable hand-rail.

Shelter ends up being totally flat with nothing to trip over.
Shelter can be locked to protect valuables.
Magnetic covers are available to keep the moisture, dust and bugs out of shelters.




SAFE ROOMS


Our Safe Room is 4 feet deep and 6 feet wide and 6' 4" tall with no permanent seating. We also offer them 4' x 8' wide. Custom sizes can be built upon request. We purposely left seating out to allow for your own stools or fold out type lawn chairs etc. It allows for the entrance of a wheel-chair or electric scooter chair for those that need them. The door swings to the inside to be able to be opened if debris might be piled against it. It comes with three interior 3/4" steel latching pins to secure the door. It also has a locking dead bolt to be able to use it as a safe. The walls are 1/4" plate and has 2" steel tubing framing. Our shelter meets and exceeds FEMA guidlines for storm shelter construction. The shelter is anchored to an existing slab with 10- 1/2"X 4" Red Head wedge anchor bolts.

There is nothing on the market stronger or anchored with any heavier anchoring system. It can be installed in one day and can be put in a garage or in a closet etc. while constructing your home.





CATHODIC PROTECTION
Lifetime Corrison Protection

The solid block of magnesium attached to the wall of our shelters, attracts any electrolysis flow to itself instead of attacking the shelter itself. It, combined with the coal tar coating, is the state of the art protection in the industry to prevent steel corrosion under ground where there is moisture present. Pipeline companies, tank companies, and refineries worldwide use this technology.
